Synopsis

“This is just a dirty little village in the middle of nowhere. Nothing that happens here is really important.” (High Noon)

A dark little bar in the middle of nowhere: Django enters the scene and quenches his thirst under the suspicious gaze of a barman. The air shimmers, everything seems dead - it is hot, a fan is spinning round, time is slipping away. Then a woman steps into the room, followed closely by a man. The woman is beautiful, but the man's look bodes no good...

"Django Superstar" pays a tribute to the Westerns but is also a parody of this movie genre. Western quotes, western music and even western "sounds" replace the spoken words and are interwoven with the images to create an allegorical ensemble.
